Akari Kuzehashi (久世橋朱里 Kuzehashi Akari^?) is the home economic teacher and Homeroom teacher of class 2-A. Her first appearance is a cameo during the final episode of season 1. She gains a bigger role in season 2.

Appearance

Akari has brown hair that is often seen with her hair pulled into a pony-tail on the side where it is held up with a pink scrunchy on the right side and brown eyes.

She wears a suit in comparison to Sakura Karasuma's more relaxed attire and she is typically glaring or scowling rather than facing the day with a smile.

Personality

Akari is a beautiful young girl with a gentle soul with a very intimidating nature, she adores anything cute and adorable. However, in her attempts to get closer to her students, she incidentally scares them with her glare or scowl rather than smile. However, she is also highly serious about her work as a teacher and will not let her desires get in the way of it.

Relationships

Karen Kujō

Initially started off at the wrong foot due to opposite personalities. But due to their similar expression issue, Karen tried to help her smile better by pursuing her heart. Although she is still strict with Karen when needed to be. She is closest to Karen among the teachers.

Etymology

The name Akari means "vermilion red" (朱) (aka) and "village" (里) (ri).
Akari's surname Kuzehashi means "long time" (久) (ku), "world" (世) (se/ze) and "bridge" (橋) (hashi).

Trivia

Akari was on the Track Team during her school years.
Akari has a pet cat.
Youko addresses Akari as "Kusshi-chan".
